Where to Take HSK Test in North America? Latest Testing Locations Updates

Many of our students have asked us where to take the HSK test in New York City, or even statewide. At first, we thought it was a very simple question to ask Google since we all know that a simple search would bring an immediate answer.

However, as we received more inquiries on HSK testing locations, it finally caught our attention. Why couldn’t our students find any testing information just by Googling it? A wave of curiosity led us to do our research. The results? Surprisingly frustrating.

So, we decided to make your search a little easier. Here, we’ve compiled a list of all HSK testing locations still operating in North America and the New York Metropolitan areas. This list is the most recently updated and should serve you as a guide.

Please note that the online version of the HSK exam (Internet-based test, or IBT) still requires mandatory in-person testing.

HSK Testing Locations That Are Not Operating Due to Covid-19

When you type in a search string like “HSK test centers NYC”, “HSK test locations”, or “Where to take HSK test in New York” on Google, the resulting pages shown on Google are all outdated. A lot of the information is inaccurate, even some of the testing locations provided are already closed.

If you try to reach out to the ones that seem like a legit option by sending an email or call, it is very likely to never get a response. How did we know? We tried them all. We’ve contacted all the following locations that are based in New York City. Unfortunately, none of them have responded. So, it’s safe to assume that they’re currently closed due to the pandemic.
