No matter where you're located in New York City, distance won't be a problem anymore. Remote lessons are also available. Search Sishu Mandarin (私塾中文), and we can be easily found on Google Maps.

We also offer online Chinese classes for those who wish to take their learning virtually.

Sishu Mandarin classes have become available in Long Island City since September 2022.

Students can schedule their classes anytime from 10 am to10 pm, every day. No matter how late you get off work, time is all you've got now.

Remote Chinese classes (Zoom/Google Meet) are available and are at a discounted rate. Since Covid, about 50% of our students are taking classes remotely with us.

We offer the most competitive private class rates in the city. Check out our private class packages here. Our online classes are priced at an even more competitive rate. If you’d like to join a small group Chinese class, our semi-private class plans might work best for you.

1. A three-credit Chinese language course at a private university will cost you around $4,110

2. Other NYC-based language schools usually charge $60-90 per class

3. A private tutor usually charges $70 - $90 for an hour

No Hidden Fees

No, not even textbook fees.

Many Chinese language schools in New York City will charge you a "matriculation fee" once you're enrolled. We don't have any such thing here. Everything is transparent with us. We also don't charge any "material fees". By the way, we buy our Chinese textbooks from Amazon. So should you.

Learning Chinese is different than learning math, chess, coding, and many other subjects. Mathematicians can study math on their own for months and years, but a language learner should never be like that. One cannot acquire a new language without sufficient exposure and practice to that language.

We will make sure every student gets the most attention from our teachers and gain extensive input and output in Mandarin Chinese.
