Design Your Own Chinese Learning Curriculum
Speaking
Speaking is the most quintessential part of a language class. All our classes are highly conversational and interactive. We aim to create a comfortable zone but also challenging environment for you to practice Chinese speaking skills. You will encouraged to speak and share your thoughts with your Chinese.
Reading
Our beginner and intermediate students will use textbook. We will provide authentic reading materials to advanced students, such as a Chinese news article, or a selected passage from a Chinese book.
Writing
We recommend beginners to start without learning how to write. Once you become more ready, writing will come along. We will usually introduce Chinese characters after first or second month of your learning with us.
Listening
All levels of students will practice their listening skills during class with their teacher. Don't forget to expose yourself in a Chinese speaking environment at home as well. We will also recommend Chinese movies and music for you to listen to at home.
Vocabulary
Every student will learn at least 50 new words in each individual class. All the vocabulary words will be taught in context and relatable to everyday conversation.
Grammar
You will learn 10-20 Chinese grammar points in each class. This is just a very conservative expectation from us. You may end up learning much more than that.
