Cancellation & Make-Up Class Policy
Please take note that there will not be a refund issued for any absences or canceled classes (excused or unexcused).
We will offer free virtual makeup classes if the scheduled class falls on a public holiday (E.g. Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas…). Parents will be notified by email.
We ask that you please make every effort to attend class consistently. From week to week we work towards building an environment where kids not only get to build upon what they learn from previous weeks but also where they are able to form and nurture crucial interpersonal connections with their teacher and classmates.
If kids or immediate members of their household are sick, contagious, have a fever, or show signs of an active illness we ask that you please wait until they are all better to attend class.
Your subscription can be canceled at any time. We will not issue a refund for any unused classes.
About our Chinese immersion program
The Chinese Immersion Program for Kids is Sishu Mandarin's new collaboration with Work & Tot in Forest Hills, Queens. With customizable short and long-term academic terms, weekly hour-long Chinese lessons, and an array of activities specifically tailored for younger learners, Sishu Mandarin provides complete language immersion in a comfortable environment designed to maximize learning speed and effectiveness.
How are we different from other immersion Chinese language programs in NYC?
Chinese is the only language we teach at our school. We’re an extremely focused team specialized in teaching Chinese and aims to provide the best learning experience to your child.
We have strict recruitment and systematic training process for our teachers who are not only experienced but also passionate about language teaching.
Sishu Mandarin has worked extensively with private schools and local family groups in Manhattan, Queens, and Jersey City as their after-school program providers. Our teachers have also helped hundreds of NYC kids.
