What’s your teachers’ background?
We have a young and energetic teaching team. Our teachers are both innovative and qualified. Most have a master's degree and an education background from respected universities in the U.S. and China. The majority are women and nearly all are native Chinese speakers. We also have teachers skilled in other Chinese dialects.

How will I be assessed?
You will get big and small assessments along with your Chinese learning journey with us. The big assessments are summative, such as baseline assessments or end-of-unit assessments.
The small assessments are the formative ones that will be carried out in every single lesson of yours. The teacher can figure out if you’ve mastered a grammar point by simply having a quick conversation with you. We also use HSK as a benchmark for assessing our students’ level of proficiency.
What Chinese textbook will I use?
We have a couple of our favorite Chinese textbooks, and we use them all. Very often, we don’t rush to the textbook because we want to get a better understanding of what our students want and need before deciding which textbook they need to use.
Do you offer free lessons?
Yes, please feel free to sign up for a trial lesson on our website. In addition, there’re other ways to join our free Chinese lessons remotely.
