  • Existing class:

    • Level 3 - 6:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday (Start date: 2/3/26)

    • Level 1 - 6:00-7:00 pm, Wednesday (Start date: 1/7/26)

    • Level 1 - 7:30-8:30 pm, Thursday (Start date: 8/7/25)

  • Registration fee: $49 (one-time, non-refundable). Pay here.

  • Subscription fee: $199/month (Cancel anytime)

  • Class length: 60 minutes/class

  • Class frequency: 4 classes/month

How to enroll (Please read before signing up)

  1. To secure your spot, please pay the registration fee.

  2. Once you have registered, you will receive an invitation to our Google Classroom, where you can find class updates and materials.

  3. Sign up for the class to become an official student. Your monthly payment must be set up before your first class. You do not need to make the monthly payment right away. We will send you an email to confirm your registration first.

  4. You will receive email reminders before your first class, including details on when to arrive, the textbook, and the reading assignments.

  5. Refund: We will not issue a refund for any missed or unused classes.

Cancellation, Make-Up & Refund Policies

  • As this is a group class setting, there will be no cancellations, rescheduling, or make-up classes. However, you may cancel your membership at any time.

  • Free trial lessons are not available for group classes.

  • All students must choose a designated class appropriate to their level. Students may transfer to a higher or lower-level class if seats are available.

  • Refunds are not available for any missed or unused classes.

  • All subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled.

Nihao FiDi 🐒

Level 1 (HSK 1) - Beginner Low

Starting from scratch? Level 1 is built exactly for you!

This course requires absolutely no prior experience and covers the exact same foundational skills you would learn in a first-year high school or college program (Chinese 101). We will guide you step-by-step through the HSK 1 Standard Course, and a complimentary digital textbook will be sent to you as soon as you enroll.

You can expect to complete this introductory level in about 40 to 48 hours.

 

Level 2 (HSK 2) - Beginner High

Ready to take your Mandarin to the next level?

Level 2 is designed perfectly for learners who have been studying Chinese for about 6 to 9 months and have a solid grasp of the basics. You will feel right at home in this class if you can comfortably score a 90 or above on the HSK 1 exam and recognize around 300 Chinese characters.

You can expect to complete this rewarding next step in about 48 hours of coursework.

 

Level 3 (HSK 3) - Intermediate Low

This HSK 3 course is built for students who have studied Mandarin for about a year and a half, or who have confidently scored a 90+ on both the HSK 1 and HSK 2 tests.

At this intermediate stage, character recognition becomes key. To get the most out of our 72 to 80 hours together, you should be able to read around 600 Chinese characters and know how to type in Chinese. While handwriting characters isn't completely required, it is highly encouraged!

While our in-person group classes at this specific location are limited, we have plenty of other ways for you to learn with us.

If you are an advanced speaker, or if you simply can't find a group schedule that works for you, we highly recommend our 1:1 private classes (available in-person and online at any time). We also host a wider variety of group classes at our Midtown and LIC locations, as well as fully online groups.
