We have 3 kids (ages 8, 7, and almost 5) and are looking for a nanny to work 30 hours/week to help care for them after school and manage our household tasks related to the kids.

Hours: Mon-Fri: 30 hours/week from 12:30 - 6:30. More hours if possible when school is off and it is feasible. Hours can be flexible on various days as long as the person arrives for school pick-up (~2:30 pm)

Rate: $25-30/hour depending on experience, and Metro card each month

Location: Park Slope, Brooklyn (3 blocks from 4th Ave - 9th St Station on the R, G and F trains)

Our family usually needs help from about 12:30-6:30 each day and the role includes:

1. Picking kids up from school and taking them to and from after school activities and sports and ensuring they complete their homework

2. Engaging them in fun activities when at home including organizing and hosting playdates with friends

3. Prepping and cooking meals (lunch/dinner)

4. Keeping kids rooms, kitchen and play areas organized and doing kids laundry

5. Helping with baths/showers and bedtime preparation

6.Other errands and tasks to help keep the kids' lives organized!

Our son and daughters have a lot of interests and classes - reading, music, dance, sports and art - so we are hoping to find someone who has a true passion for helping kids explore these and new activities while also managing the schedule and other tasks to keep everything running smoothly.

Strong English skills are required. Since only one parent grew up speaking Cantonese and the kids are just beginning Mandarin classes, we need a nanny who speaks enough English to be able to converse fully with the kids and parents in English as well. But we hope our nanny can also help teach them some Mandarin outside of the class they are taking.
